Good mother

This song is definitely for my mom. Not often do I hear it, but whenever I do, I get teary-eyed and me miss my mommie. =(

I've got money in my pocket
I like the color of my hair
I've got a friend who loves me
Got a house, I’ve got a car
I've got a good mother
and her voice is what keeps me here

Feet on ground
Heart in hand
Facing forward
Be yourself
I've never wanted anything
No I've, no I've, I've never wanted anything
so bad...so bad

Cardboard masks of all the people
I've been
thrown out with all the rusted, tangled
dented God Damned miseries
You could say I'm hard to hold
But if you knew me you'd know
I've got a good father
And his strength is what makes me cry

Feet on ground
Heart in hand
Facing forward
Be yourself
I've never wanted anything
No I've, no I've, I've never
wanted anything so bad...
so bad

I've got money in my pocket
I like the color of my hair
I've got a friend who loves me
Got a house, I've got a car
I've got a good mother
and her voice is what keeps me here

Feet on ground
Heart in hand
Facing forward
Be yourself

Heart in hand
Feet on ground
Facing forward
Be yourself
just be yourself
just be yourself

Feet on ground
Heart in hand
Feet on ground
Heart in hand

Anything Starbucks

This is not an addiction. It's simply for the fun of it. =)

No matter how I put it, they just smile, roll their eyes, and laugh.

Decaf, non-fat, and hold the whip cream please. To go. Eyes shut from the blended cream crap. From ginger and carrot cakes, oatmeal cookies, to the comprehensive range of lattes, to plain gazebos, to raspberry teas, Tazos, juice freezes, and so on. Ironically though, I don't go there for the caffein, but mostly for their juices. I appear at the Starbucks PSC entrance, and all the baristas go "Hi Suzanne!" Man, that name's been written on cups as Suzain, Suzen, Sulein, Susen, Susain, and I can go on and on. (If it were in Text Twist, you'd find a gazillion ways to rescramble it, and Text Twist would consider it legit.) One visit every other day is too seldom, and the baristas would think there's something wrong. Was able to accomplish 3 sticker cards and claimed 3 planners, but owned not one and gave them all to those who find it useful. The most fun of it all is, once you establish yourself a true patron at Starbucks PSC (supe has marked me a stockholder... hehe), they'll sometimes spot you from behind the counter even if you're concealed in a long queue of customers, give you first-rate service and just hand you your order without having to write down and call out your name. It's actually embarrassing, but I do like the idea of receiving this great customer service.

Where did we go wrong?

The World's always been kinda messed up, it was messed up before I was born, it was messed up during the time that I lived and it will probably be messed up after I'm gone. That doesn't mean you don't try the best that you can and make this a better world. -- Billy Joel

I, expat

I picture myself tied on to the top of a Philippine flagpole. Customs get ready, draw, aim, and TWANNGG! It's a catapult shot far away, all the way to the so-called land of milk and honey. Then motherland becomes never-never land.

Say Yo!

Yo is handy. It's expressive, exhibits a subtle yet powerful approach on its own.

As a greeting: Yo, wassup?

As your:

Yo momma is so old that when she was in school, there was no history class.
Yo momma is so old, her social security number is 1.
Yo momma is so old, she ran track with dinosaurs.

As you: Yo! Come back here!

'Yo' drives a superb influence in the current trend. If a person speaks 'yo', it supposedly helps people read him/her as cool.

'Yo' is designed purely to attract attention. If one shouts this word/phrase/expression (however you think it) loud enough, people will pay a great deal of attention, often in the form of staring at the ground as hard as they possibly can. 'Yo', though not as potent, but which is rather less offensive, still has a significant impact on many listeners.

Yo! Yo! YO! as in "Hold it!!!" or "Wait a minute!" or "What da hell's goin on!"

... doesn't sound too harsh, but on a lighter side of anger. Handy, expressive, subtle and powerful.

A yo to!
